HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK MY WEDDING FLORIST?

Couples typically begin to contact florists 7-10 months before their wedding, potentially sooner if flowers are a high priority. We book a limited number of weddings & events every season, so please book early to ensure your date is available. 

HOW DO I BOOK A COMPLIMENTARY CONSULTATION?

To prepare for our consultation, couples should know their wedding date, ceremony and reception locations, and have an idea of their floral budget, color palette, and wedding style. Consultations are typically 20 to 30 minutes long.

WHAT IS YOUR WEDDING BOOKING PROCESS?

Start by completing our Wedding Contact Form. Along with your contact information, we like to know any detail that might be useful during our consultation. Within 24 hours we will reach out to schedule a complementary consultation.

During your consultation we discuss your floral vision and expectations for your wedding day, including your sense of style, color palette, favorite flowers, and the most important elements for your ceremony and reception spaces.

Within a week of our initial consultation we will send a custom proposal based on our conversation, including detailed visual inspiration, examples of seasonal flowers, and design ideas.

We hold your date for ten days while you consider our proposal. To secure your date and begin the design process a non-refundable booking fee is required, as well as your signed contract to confirm your booking.

DO YOU REQUIRE A MINIMUM INVESTMENT?

There is no minimum investment required to work with Clever Girl Florals, however we do offer three tiers of service to best meet the needs of our couples.

Couples interested in our Full-Service option should anticipate investments beginning around $3000, our Prix Fixe option is available for a flat rate of $2,500, and there is no minimum investment required to purchase from our à la Carte option.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN YOUR FULL-SERVICE, PRIX FIXE, AND À LA CARTE WEDDING OPTIONS?

We offer three distinct wedding options to best meet the needs of all our couples.

Full-Service - We work with you every step of the way to design breathtaking florals and event decor, providing exquisite bridal party flowers, dreamy ceremony and reception arrangements, as well as any other floral masterpiece you could imagine. Clever Girl Florals is by your side throughout the creative process to offer advice, answer questions, and ensure your vision is perfectly realized. Prospective couples should anticipate investments beginning around $3000 for our Full-Service option. Additional services include:

  • Complementary consultation

  • Custom moodboard

  • Detailed written proposal

  • Venue site visit

  • Priority access to our inventory of vases and decor items

  • Delivery, on site installation, and break-down

Prix Fixe - this option is available at a flat rate of $2,500 for trusting us to design the details of your wedding flowers. After a complementary consultation to understand your vision, we design stunning floral arrangements based around your color palette and style. We think of this option as opportunity to innovate and push creative boundaries in exchange for a lowered minimum. Additional services include:

  • Complementary consultation

  • Detailed written proposal

  • Delivery, on site installation, and break-down

À la Carte - This option is perfect for couples that don’t need our full design services, or very small weddings and elopements. Only bridal party flowers are available, and floral items are ordered individually. Selected items include bouquets, boutonnières, corsages, floral crowns and combs. Please note this option does not include delivery, installation, break-down, or in-person meetings. There is no minimum investment required for our à la Carte option. Additional services include:

  • Complementary phone consultation

  • Detailed written proposal

WHERE DO YOU GET YOUR FLOWERS?

Our flowers and foliage come from a variety of sources. We rely on local growers, a respectful foraging practice, and several wholesale markets.

While we prefer to source locally, we regularly purchase from a handful of wholesalers across the country. This helps us meet demand for high quantities of flowers, ensures a reliable supply during busy seasons and inclement weather, and guarantees we will have access to flowers wherever our destination events take us.
